Aaliyah has a great sense of humor, is outgoing, and is incredibly smart. She enjoys being physically active and experiencing new things. She has a competitive spirit and is driven. Her favorite team sports to play are volleyball and soccer. She does well in school and her favorite classes are PE and history. She is a fan of all kinds of history. She communicates very well and knows how to advocate for herself. She is not afraid to ask for what she needs. That ability to communicate well also helps her make friends easily. She is described as a loyal friend. In her leisure time, she loves to take walks. One of her favorite things to do is go to the park and watch the sunset over the water. Being around water is both soothing and peaceful to her. She also loves spending time in the water, including swimming. She loves all types of animals and enjoys the responsibility of caring for family pets. She is quite proud of her ability to teach and train them. She is also crafty. She enjoys coloring, painting, and drawing -- and usually focuses on landscapes. She also enjoys making bracelets. In her downtime, she likes to listen to music, play board games and spend time together as a family. She is a protective big sister to her younger siblings.

Makazja is by definition a girlie girl. Her favorite color is purple. She lives in the moment and is described as a happy child. She is energetic and affectionate and absolutely loves all things involving fashion and princesses. Her perfect day would be shopping for new shoes and trying on new clothes. Glam is her love language. She loves manicures, pedicures, and getting her hair and make-up done. Makazja is bashful with strangers until she gets to know you. Then she is quick to show you her playful and friendly side. She is incredibly sweet to both people and animals and has a great fondness for dogs and unicorns. One of her favorite things to do is visit the local zoo. On a nice day, Makajza can be found outside playing in the yard, running, jumping, swimming, or doing cartwheels. She also enjoys watching television, playing with toys, coloring, drawing, interacting with people, and going on outings with her foster family and with her sisters whom she adores and is very bonded to.

Phoenix is a girlie girl like her big sister Makajza. Her favorite color is pink. She loves everything that has anything to do with fashion. She loves playing dress up, getting her hair and nails done, and getting pedicures. However, it isn't all frills and lace with this firecracker. She will straight up tell you that she was "born sassy." And n active ball of energy, Phoenixlives to be outside running, jumping, tumbling, and doing cartwheels. She is described by her caregivers as both funny and spunky rolled into one. She likes to be silly and her love language is trying to make you laugh. If she is stuck inside, she does a good job of entertaining herself. She loves games, coloring and playing with toys. She loves to play with others, enjoys being the center of attention, and likes spending time together with her sisters. She is very loyal to them. Like her sisters, she loves animals and enjoys visits to the zoo and local children's interactive museum. She learns best through exploration and hands on experience.
This sibling group needs an experienced foster family that is trauma informed. Preference will be given to families that are already licensed as a therapeutic foster home. They would do best in a structured environment. They like to know what to expect. They respond best when they know the routine and have reasonable expectations set for them. Their foster care team is open to homes with a mom and dad or a single mom. The team will not consider families with other children in the home. Their caregiver needs to be patient and calm. They do best in a more calm atmosphere that doesn't involve a lot of over-stimulation. Any prospective family needs to be receptive to continued contact with the biological family. A strong support system with access to resources/services as needed is preferable.
